Project Overview
Brian led the LDC team in the development of Dubai’s very own tropical indoor rainforest, complete with more than 3,000 species of plants, animals and free-flying birds.
- Located at City Walk, The Green Planet recreates an exotic, sensory experience of travelling through a lush and verdant rainforest.
- Led the successful completion of this fast-track design and build project providing full engineering design and site supervision services for the iconic living organic Amazon rainforest museum
- The project includes complex geometry in form of multiple inclined planes and doubly curved inclined beams which required the use of several 3D modelling tools across different disciplines to ensure fully coordinated connection details were provided to the contractor.
